Project Aurora Development Update
Hello friends,
At Foolworks Studios we believe in being open about what we are building and where we are heading. That also means being honest when plans change.
After careful consideration, we have decided to place Project Aurora on hold. Development on the game is being paused, and the project will not be released in its current form for the foreseeable future.
This was not an easy decision. Project Aurora has been in active development for some time, and a lot of creative effort went into shaping its world, systems, and ideas. However, as a small independent studio, we have to make choices based on our available time, team size, and financial resources. Right now, continuing Aurora at the level it deserves is simply not sustainable.
Because the project is no longer in active development, we have also removed the Project Aurora game page from our website, along with its related news posts. This helps avoid confusion and ensures that our public site reflects what we are currently working on.
This does not mean the project is gone forever.
Our intention is to return to Project Aurora in the future when we have more manpower, a stronger financial foundation, and the ability to fully realize the scope and ambition of the game. The world of Aurora still matters to us, and we want to do it justice rather than rush or compromise it.
In the meantime, our focus is shifting toward new projects that better fit our current capabilities, including our upcoming mobile title currently known as Project Survivor. These projects allow us to keep moving forward as a studio while continuing to grow.
We want to thank everyone who followed, supported, and showed interest in Project Aurora. Your enthusiasm meant a lot to us, and it is one of the reasons we hope to revisit the project in the future.
We will keep you updated if and when Aurora returns.
